The history of "Villa Afsaneh" goes back to the mid-1990s, when a renowned ethnologist and passionate world traveller had the idea to create a very special house.

Inspired by his numerous travels in Moorish countries, he decided to create a place that would carry the incomparable oriental charm of this fascinating region.

And so the story of this extraordinary property began.

 

The construction of "Villa Afsaneh" was a true project of the heart. With a love of detail and a deep understanding of Moorish architecture, this magnificent house was built.

 

Every arch, every column and every decorative stone was carefully selected and placed to reflect the elegance and aesthetics of the Orient in its purest form. It was clear from the start that this house would be something special.

 

But the story of "Villa Afsaneh" did not stop at the building. When we acquired this property, it was a matter of the heart for us to preserve the unique charm and soul of this place.

So we decided to give the property its own name - "Villa Afsaneh".

 

This name is a wonderful combination of our own personalities, because "Afsaneh" is composed of the words "Afsah" and "Farzaneh", my wife's first names and my family name.

But it means even more, because in Persian literature "Afsaneh" is often translated as "dreamlike" or "fairytale-like".

And that is exactly what "Villa Afsaneh" embodies - a place that seems to have sprung from a dream and where fairy tales come true.
